StatSheet's Big Ten Player of the Week for February 18th goes to Wisconsin's Ben Brust. StatSheet's Big Ten Freshman of the Week goes to Nebraska's Shavon Shields. Also, Will Sheehey from Indiana takes home StatSheet's Big Ten 6th Man of the Week. Brust tallied a strong showing in shooting (50%), scoring (13 pts per game), and rebounding (7.5 per game). The Wisconsin junior put these numbers up in a win against 13th ranked Ohio State and a loss to Minnesota.

Brust posted 11 points on 36% shooting in 43 minutes in a 58-53 loss to Minnesota. That was followed by a team-leading 15 point and 11 rebound performance in a huge 71-49 victory against Ohio State.

This is the first time this season that Ben Brust has been named StatSheet Big Ten Player of the Week. However, he has received an honorable mention. The runner-up this week is Michigan sophomore Trey Burke. Honorable mention goes to Ohio State junior Deshaun Thomas.
